As to what the law envisions for individuals who are involved in manipulations or match-making, prosecutor Besim Kelmendi for “Our claim” has said the sentence could be up to eight years in effective prison.
If there are elements of the criminal act, any person involved could be punished according to the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. Punishments are both fines and imprisonments, simultaneously. Prison sentences could go up to 8 years”, Besim Kelmendi, prosecutors, has indicated.
