The Special Anti-Corruption and Organised Crime Prosecutor (SPAK), in co-operation with the US Regional Directorate, has detained two Road Police officers in Tirana.
The two employees, during the duty exercise, in exchange for the surrender of a vehicle owned by a sequentised citizen in the quality of material evidence for an event occurring in September 2019, have asked for illegal benefits in bribery and sexual favor.
It's about H.Z., the Judiciary Police officer near the Regional Road Police Commissioner Tirana and L.D., chief of the Department for Administractions Verification.
Among other things, evidence has been provided that by deliberate actions and inactions, over a relatively long period of time, the vehicle's legal procedures for the purpose of benefiting the above benefits have stalled, consuming elements of abuse of office and passive corruption.
