Some nurses have refused to work in clinics where patients infected with COVID-19.
The chairman of the Infermies Union, Fitim Havolli, has said it is incredible how there might be nurses who don't want to contribute their contribution to the fight against Coronavirus until he says there will be an independent commission to investigate more specifically why this happened and what were the real reasons.
“The MSH has made the decision and has given full authority that KSFKKUK for all movements within KKUK where it needs to move this community according to the needs required. We as unions have reacted after some nurses have turned to us with the complaint that the right” was violated, he said. Havol said that one of the reasons some nurses who have tried to escape responsibility is fear of infection, until they added that they have no other health reasons.
“I can still believe that there are nurses at KKUK who run away from what they call authorities and try to avoid them for no reason if they have chronic diseases or other dangers to their lives. Director Sami Tahiraj will create an Independent Commission that will assess the real reasons for this event”, Havolli said.
