The government of Kosovo at the latest meeting has adopted several new decisions in the fight against the Comud-19 pandemic.
Among other things, all sporting activity in open, closed environments has been banned. But this is being rejected by the sports community in Kosovo.
These decisions are also opposing the Kosovo Football Federation, since teams that have secured participation in Europe must prepare for matches to be fought during August.
FFK Secretary-General Erroll Salihu for The KP said this decision should be revised as decisions are being made without consultation with experts on the issue.
According to him, these teams must exercise in order to prepare themselves for the international arena.
Salihu: Teams participating in European competitions must certainly be prepared
We've had a committee meeting, we've discussed this just because it should be understood that no ad-hok decisions can be made. I'm sure tonight we meet with the prime minister and the sports ministry to understand that there must be exceptions because we have three teams participating in European competitions and so we have tremendous problems with the system, the visa regime because the embassies are not working, then in the way of testing because there may be too many games, and we have no legal obligation for clubs to care but we have a moral obligation because our clubs are inexperienced and you'll be stuck with them. Understandably, these clubs, but even the women's club who participate in European competitions, should be prepared and exercise”, he said.
