Montenegro places quarantine for people coming from Serbia

Those who enter Montenegro from Serbia will be quarantined, so Montenegro's National Co-ordination Body decided last night on infectious diseases (TKK).

This body has introduced several epidemiological measures for all of Montenegro, especially for the northern region.

Because of the development of the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Serbia, it is decided that all persons entering Montenegro from that country will be sent to quarantine”, the Montenegrin government explained.

The statement adds that “the scale of active cases in the Republic of Serbia, especially in the area along the border with Montenegro, requires strict epidemiological supervision”.

Therefore, people entering Montenegro from the Republic of Serbia will not be sent to domestic proselytification until further announcement, but only to quarantine in state-defined objects”.

The TKK has decided that gardens in Montenegro will be closed again, while hotel facilities will be open until midnight.
