Kosovo government warns stricter measures to fight corruption

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, accompanied by Health Minister Armend Zemaj, attended today's upcoming meeting of the Committee for Co-ordination and assessing the emergency situation with coronarys, in which it was discussed the serious situation created as a result of this pandemic and actions that the country's institutions must take to manage and prevent it.
In the government's released media communiqué, in addition to the full commitment of the health staff, which is on the front lines of the front line in the battle against the COVID -19 pandemic, at this meeting, all citizens were again asked to be careful, to keep the physical distance, to wear protective masks, and to maintain personal hygiene because these are the most efficient means to protect themselves from this dangerous infection.
Prime Minister Hoti also requested from all relevant institutions in the country, both at the central level and at the local level, to co-ordinate their actions so that citizens can be informed of the safeguards ahead of the Government's decisions on the Republic of Kosovo, as well as with guidelines from the National Public Health Institute.
Even at this meeting, Prime Minister Hoti stressed the Kosovo government's determination to intervene wherever it needs technical equipment, whether with the increased number of health personnel, so that patients lying in Kosovo hospitals are offered all the necessary professional assistance and human care they need.
Since in recent days the number of infected people has increased greatly - even with serious human effects - from discussions by participants turned out that the Government and other institutions of the country cannot rule out even the stricter measures of restricting the movement of citizens.
In this case, Minister Zemaj has presented concrete steps the Health Ministry has taken these days to manage and prevent the COVID-19 pandemic, while the management of the country's health institutions have reported on the condition of the affected by presenting updated data on the number of infected, as well as our doctors and nurses' efforts to help patients cope successfully.
