Former KLA soldiers: Certain specials and circuits are trying to stain the liberation war.

Proposal of the Prosecutor's Office specialised to the country's president Hashim Thaci, of PDK President Kadri Veselini, former Kosovo Liberation Army soldiers, is considering it a tendency to tarnish the war for freedom of the people of Kosovo.

Elmije Plaqiqi, who had served in the Posttric Zone during the war, says that the proposal -- opposite of Thaci and Wessel -- severely undermines the Kosovo Liberation Army war, while the Special Court itself considers it unfair and selective.

Not only does it seriously harm the KLA war, which is known to be a fair and liberation war, and instead of being tried by those who committed crimes and genocide, for nearly two decades are accused, persecuted, tried by those who have fought a fair and liberation war and fought crime and genocide in Kosovo. So this accusation is unfair not only to these two leaders... This is unacceptable not only as the KLA, but as the people of Kosovo and as the Albanian nation in general”, she says.

Former KLA soldier Sanije Rexha, who had served in the Drenica operational zone, also considers the proposal unfair.

She says the Special Court, with the publication of the proposal, has accused not only two people, but the entire history of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

“As a KLA soldier I can freely say that this act was not given only to the president and president of the PDK, but to all our national history, the war of the KLA, national heroes and all the people of Kosovo... It is an act of ill intention, a direct indictment that serves the Serbian criminal state... We should not be silent in the face of these charges that are brought to the KLA, to say individually, this is absurd, here the former Kosovo Liberation Army is being accused, our heroes” are being charged, she says.

It says that in defense of the Kosovo Liberation Army's and Thaci's and Wessel's war, all people must be established.

While former soldier Fidajet Spahiu, known as “Fortesa” who served in the Drenica area, is convinced of the country's president's innocence and PDK leader.

The proposal calls it unfair, evil and a blow to the state of Kosovo.

“Special Courts and certain circles are trying to tarnish the Kosovo Liberation Army, but there is no charge and court that can harm and tarnish it, the war it has fought The KLA was fair and clean and, however hard they try to degrade it will remain one of the most important periods in the history of the Albanian people. I am personally proud and happy that I had the opportunity to be part of the KLA... the Special Court is unfair and I think it's biased. Any accusation brought against our fellow fighters is unfair and meaningless... but I am convinced of the innocence of President Thaci and President Veselin and all our fellow fighters, who are unjustly facing false charges”, she says.

The Special Court Prosecutor's Office of Thaci and Wessel was released on 24 June, just days before the Kosovo-Serbia meeting was held in Washington, which was then cancelled. The country's President Hashim Thaci will present himself to The Hague for interviewing today.
