Real Madrid won the first league title since the 2016/17 edition, and that was fantastic news for Chelsea.
“Sportation” points out that two separate clauses were included in Hazard's contract when he left “Stamford Bridge”
Chelsea would benefit 15m euros if the club qualified at the League Champions, which certainly happened.
And the next 20m-euro clause was included if Real Madrid won La Ligan, which also happened.
