Fikret Shatri's first words after he completed the challenging 257km journey from Pristina to Tirana

The 45-year-old from Istog ran 257km, until the cause of a minor injury ended up walking last few miles.
Shatri arrived about 15:30 at Skenderbeu Square in Tirana, after 45 hours of travel. It was launched on July 2nd at 1600 from Skenderbeu Square in Pristina.
Shatri felt happy and thrilled until he thanked all those who accompanied him on this journey and the sponsors.
I'm happy not that I failed, but that my friends did not fail. I say hi to all those people I've let sleep away. The legs were hurt because of asphalt”, Shatri said.
In his support was Kosovo Olympic Committee Secretary-General Shasivar Hadziaj, who joined in the last tens of miles, then Albanian National Olympic Committee President Viron Bezhani, Pristina club athletes Trail Runner, Germia 555, who were all along, the Marathon Albany club from Albania, friends and family of Albania.
