The European Union said the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia will be reached after all sides agree on all unresolved issues and agree that normalisation can continue in the form of the signed agreement.
Comments were made by European Foreign Affairs Service chief spokesman Peter Stano in Brussels on Thursday.
Experts' teams from Kosovo and Serbia are participating in a round of talks today in Brussels, mediated by the EU, Rel conveys.
It is this second such meeting in a week, mediated by EU envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
The Kosovo delegation is headed by state co-ordinator for dialogue Skender Hyseni, while Serbia's director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia, Marko Djuric.
Stano confirmed earlier that in the agenda of the talks today there are displaced persons and economic issues.
On Wednesday, Stano has denied several media reports in Serbia that the European Union is preparing an ultimatum for Belgrade in today's round of talks.
On July 29th, the Serbian newspaper “Vecernje Novosti” has written that the Belgrade delegation will submit a draft comprehensive agreement, which implies the de facto recognition of Kosovo on the part of Serbia.
Stano said he denies such speculation.
Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, at the highest level, has resumed on 16 July, with a meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, mediated by senior EU officials.
