Over ten days of symptoms, the patient is not tested for coronarys in Gracanica

One man, over 60 years old, is now waiting 12 days to take a coronary test at the Breacanica Hospital Clinic Centre, although he has a high fever and photographs showing that he has lung lighting. Gracanica is a municipality in the vicinity of Pristina, inhabited by Serb majority, in [...]
Regarding the case, Radio Free Europe has witnessed the daughter of the elderly person whose identity is known for editing but who wants to remain anonymous because, as it has said, the fear that her father will no longer be able to receive medical attention.
It stresses that they have been addressed to all competent institutions operating according to Serbia's system, from the Health House to the Infectious Clinic, but that doctors have told them there is no need for her father to get samples, because the patient “is not in such a bad condition”.
“There has been a temperature and, after deteriorating its state of health, we've decided to seek help at the House of Health in Gracanica, where we've been directed to the COVID-19 ambulance under the House of Health. We went there, and after looking at laboratory tests, we were told that my father has no symptoms of coronary”, showed the old patient's daughter, pointing to CRP laboratory analysis, which points to infection in the organism, with her father over normal values.
We were told to go back home without anyone to treat him with vitamins. However, each day following, his condition worsened”, the patient's daughter relates.
With self-intensive, we've taken pictures of the lungs in a private clinic that showed there's pneumonia. With that picture, we're back in Llapnasella, where there's a triple container. The doctors accepted, but refused to take a test. We were hopeless, but we returned home and cured him just as we could, but he again became complicated. They refused to accept him into the hospital because they said he is not in very bad condition, despite having to take injections that are not taken under house conditions”, the patient's daughter explained.
She added that doctors, every day told them that they would receive her father's sample for testing, while on Monday, July 27th, were told that they were forbidden to send samples to the Hospital Clinical Centre in Northern Mitrovica, which are then sent to Serbia's Kralev, because the “laborator in Kralev is overloaded” and that he no longer accepts samples from Kosovo.
She is now planning to send her father for testing in Pristina, where the sample analysis is conducted at the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health, which operates within the Kosovo system.
Gracanica has about 20 thousand inhabitants, meanwhile, the total number of positive cases with coronarys is currently 57.
On the other hand, epidemiology specialist at the North Mitrovica Public Health Entin, operating within Serbia's health system, Dr. Aleksandar Antonijevic, dismissed claims that they have ordered the ban on taking samples of patients with symptoms.
He says Radio Free Europe that Gracanica can send ten samples a day, which, according to him, “is completely enough”.
“Gracanica and those around it, which covers them, has ten samples per day level, and this is 70 in a week. This is completely enough for that territory and for that number of residents”, Antonijevic points out.
He has clarified that samples taken from the majority Serb environments in Kosovo are again sent to Serbia's “fire eyes” laboratory at the Clinical Centre in Belgrade. In the past period, samples for testing were sent to the Veterinary Institute laboratory in Kraleva and to the Institute for Virusology, vaccines and serum “Torolak” in Belgrade.
Antonijevic points out that only patients who meet conditions under clinical and laboratory tests are tested, and with lung photographs.
There is now another strategy. Now we don't reveal patients in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the goal is to preserve people's lives and test those with easy clinical mirrors, which are conveyed through health homes. They make their blood mirror, lung photographing, and those patients with mild clinical mirrors are delivered through health homes. All those with lung finds and lab findings show that it's a viral infection, such patients are tested. They are more important to us”, Antonijevic stressed.
Of the competent officials at the Clinical Hospital Centre in Gracanica and Llapnasela, Radio Free Europe has failed to get any comment on the situation at this health institution and on the testing procedures of patients with COVID-19, the disease that causes Coronavirus.
But, the infection of the Clinical Hospital Centre in Gracanica, Boban Stoliq, at a press conference on July 24th, said there are enough tests and that taking samples is not limited to numbers. He has also stressed that at the Hospital Clinical Centre there is enough capacity to treat patients with COVIDD-19, and that doctors of various profiles have been engaged. In the Clinical Centre's infectious clinic department, 20 patients are hospitalised.
Meanwhile, the director of the House of Health in Graznica, Mirjana Dimitrijevic, says patients with mild symptoms are sent to domestic treatment because such patients are not hospital.
“As far as the Health House is concerned, we have the ambulance for COVID-19, which works 24 hours a day, and patients can be notified by any symptoms, regardless of whether they have fever, sluggishness or other symptoms that indicate viral infection”, Dimitrijevic points out.
Minister for Community and Return to the Government of Kosovo Dalibor Yevtic, who is from the ranks of the Serbian List, tweeted on July 27th that “is not a shame to be infected with coronary, but it is a shame and no big responsibility if anyone feels symptoms and these are not presented to the doctor at”
But, from this minister's office, they have refused to comment on the difficulties of citizens about testing Corleone.
At the same time, the mayor of the Gracanica municipality, Srdjan Popovovic, also from the Serbian List, has appealed to local residents in case the first symptoms of the Coronavirus were presented, the new ones were immediately called to the nearest ambulances for COVID-19 in order to prevent the eventual spread of infection.
I prefer to all the natives of Gracanica and surrounding countries, in case the first symptoms of infection are presented, to be reported to health homes and hospitals. This is not a shame. There are plenty of people waiting for temperatures to pass by and they think they're safe. Visiting the doctor, you save yourself, your fellow citizens and your family”, Popovic said on July 27th.
In Kosovo, by 29 July, 7.846 persons have been registered, infected with coronarys. 196 dead. In the last 24 hours, 449 people tested have tested 194 people, while four patients have died.
In majority Serb environments in Kosovo, 3,196 persons have been tested by Monday. A total of 691 people infected with coronarys have resulted, of which 560 in northern Kosovo and 20 people have died. The number of sick people has increased in particular in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health (IKSHPK) reported on a new case of coronary in Zubin Potok.
In official IKSHPK reports, where the number of sick, healed, and dead persons from the Coronavirus is published daily, not even data from Serbian environments.
These data, on a daily basis, is transported to a single database at Serbia's overall level.
