Kun Agüero has been outside the fields for a month and 7 days, since he was injured against Burnley in the second match, after Premier League resumed, which stopped by the choreography.
The Argentinian attacker underwent surgery on his left knee in Barcelona, like any other Manchester City player, who suffers serious injury. Kun believed in his recovery, with the target set for return to Real Madrid. One objective that, according to Pep Guardola's words, is unattainable: “No, I think it won't be possible”.
If nothing changes in his recovery, Agüero won't be available to “citizens” for the 1/8 final match of the Champions League.
Despite losing the last few matches, Agüero has exceeded twenty goals, again, this season (there are 23 goals total, 16 at Premier League). This is the fifth consecutive year, which does this (26 goals in 2014-15, 24 goals in 2015-16, 20 goals in 2016-2017, 21 ola in 2017-18 and 20 goals in 2018-19).
The Argentinian bomber remains a point of reference in the Guardola attack, although this year it has been left behind Sterling, with 30 goals, which has ended its best season since it came from Liverpool. The other on the list of best markers is Gabriel Jessús, who has 22 goals. Four of them after Agüro's injury.
