Albania's acting minister for foreign affairs and for Europe, Gent Cakaj, said the Special Court is a political problem and the political spectrum should be united as opposed to efforts being made to tarnish the KLA.
He added that there is an attempt in Serbia to fail responsibility during the war that major actions in war present as criminal groups in the army, as criminal groups and individuals, not to assume responsibility as a state.
Cakaj further analysed Serbia's attempt to flee state responsibility even in events in Bosnia.
“Even events, such as Srebrenica, are considered genocide committed by local Serbs rather than Serbia”, Cakaj said, in an interview for RTK.
Meanwhile, Cakaj, regarding the establishment of the indictment by the Special Court's Prosecutor towards KLA leaders, stated that he is held responsible for crimes against humanity and broken the rules of war by a representative. The KLA, now president of the country, which now overturns the terresponsive of this process, which has so far been co-operating with international justice bodies, is now the 6th level of co-operation with internationals.
The Special Court has been created by the Parliament with the support of President Thaci himself, former Speaker of the Parliament Kadri Veseli, so it is meaningless that Kosovo will be presented as unco-operative with the International Court”, he said.
Kakaj further added that it is a political problem, because Kosovo is politically charged against internationals, and we should be at the level of office.
