Way to build the mosque: Political cigar project, BIK ties with Turkey

Opinionist Albert Heta has come against construction of the mosque in Pristina.

Heta in Info Magazine said the tranquillity of the neighborhood residents should be respected while supporting the protest today.

“I'm describing the requirement that this project be treated properly in a normal society as a tendency to stop trust is scandalous and biased error, no one is called for a ban on Islamic religious faith or any other belief in Kosovo, and that's the tendency to politicise even more the entirely normal call of the concerned citizens of that neighborhood but also of Pristina to handle carefully any interventions that are made in their 35x1 district.

“Who has ever appealed to these people to stop believing Islam in Kosovo, except those who activate this belief for their own public political intentions use these tools to treat a citizen's courage in the face of politicians who treat their city as if it were their personal shopping”

“It is urbanized, PTK parking lot was built for PTK workers and to serve that public enterprise and its needs, but political interventions have tried to rob that space for the most part on an experimenting platform”, Heta said.

Heta also stressed that according to him from the competition so far this project has been politicised and that it has nothing to do with classical Turkish architecture.

“The needs of the citizens are principal in every city and civic needs also produce demands for a cult object, or for a sports hall or whatever else”.
