According to an O report FASH, up - to - date studies with these types of tests indicate the extent of infection below 10 percent, reports KOHA.
O emergency official In Kosovo, Isme Hymolli has said that in many countries that have conducted serological tests their positiveity has been between 2 and 3 percent. But, according to her, this does not mean that in Kosovo we should have this percentage, as it adds that the virus in the country is very widespread.
Despite this, she has said that the results of the serological tests should be interpreted by specialists, there should be testing methodology, as well as the categories of people who have been tested.
However, the director of health in the Pristina municipality, Bujar Gashi, has said they still have no division and statistics of how many of those tested have been cured by COVID-19 and how many patients have not been tested earlier. He said they'd publish later.
Serological tests are made in blood and reveal antibodies fighting COVID-19. While WHO, for the diagnosis of coronary, recommends only laboratory tests known as PCR.
