Just 19 weeks next season in Serie A, major changes are planned.

The delay in starting the upcoming football edition cannot be an option. It's an idea that doesn't like clubs, of course, because of financial damage.

According to newspaper information “La Repubblica”, we can have a reduction of weeks from 38 currently and the season verdicts given through “play off” and “play out”. More specifically, a regular 19-week season would be played and then the phase of “play off” and “play out” with ten teams each.

It is expected to be clarified later on how matches can be divided in and out of the house in the 19 regular weeks. However, we are still in the phase of an idea, and we will see whether everything will be confirmed soon or rejected to study another solution.
