Swiss media have indicated that Basel has not exercised the right to purchase Edon Zegrova, with the latter returning to Genk in Belgium.
Basel has had the last opportunity for Zegrov's permanent acquisition in March, but the crisis caused by COVID-19 had the Swiss hesitate to do so.
Gergeva at Basel was borrowed in February 2019, and has already won the Swiss Cup with this team.
In the current season, Zegrov has made 18 presentations in all races, marking two goals
