Kosovo football player Eros Grezda has been sentenced to four games of physical assault against the rival player. The disciplinary commission of Croatia's Football Federation made the decision Thursday.
Days earlier, Grezda had slapped the young man in Rijeka, Antonio Colak, in the parking lot near the stadium in Rijeka. Grezda physically attacked him after the Croatia Cup semifinal match, which his team, Osijek, lost 3:2.
He had said he was offended on national and personal bases by Colak, but it was denied by the latter. She had not even mentioned the insults to Grezda in a message sent to Colak shortly after the incident.
