Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has shown the state of management of Covid-19 in the municipality he runs. Ahmeti says they have been aware that there will be more cases after the opening, but that importantly is the ban on spread.
Until today, there have been 106 cases of two fatalities in Pristina. Active cases in Pristina today are 31. He writes.
We've had a bigger number of about 10 infected and all the cases are from one person who infected some in his workplace. The patient has been tested on Friday and has proved positive. Meanwhile, during the week, he sent the children to the nursery. After testing the children, they have also proved positive, and we have been forced to close the two nests for disinfectation, while class children have been sent for testing. The children of those classes will not be able to go to the nursery for two weeks regardless of the results, while classroom educators go to self-isolation. Ahmet adds.
He tells why three nests were closed yesterday.
I've been forced to close it in another nest because an employee's husband has tested positively. We've disinfected the nest and in case of the negative result the breach continues to function normal. The first two are flowers and smiles, and the third is the fireflies. He tells Ahmet.
We are aware that by reopening the number would increase. But now we have to control the spread. We're going to do our job but we're looking for your cooperation in keeping your distance, keeping your self-aware if you're behind contact no matter what positive or negative results in your first test. )
I wish you a pleasant evening and we will test over 100 contacts tomorrow, Ahmeti tells.
