Gashi has been impressed with the date of the liberation of Kosovo's cities, expressing surprise as to how Sqaleraj équuoise ? KLA has been released six days later than Pristina.

In fact, Kosovo's liberation was made after the NATO forces bombings through specific Serb military and strategic targets, and perhaps that is the point of such an attack on Gashi's part.
The full removal of Serbian forces was mainly taken as the day when one city was completely freed from another.
But these Gashi statements seem to want to provoke the feelings of people involved in the war.
Shkelzen Gashi was dismissed by Prime Minister Kurti after several statements on the KLA and Dick Martyn.
