Schalke on Thursday has apologised after asking fans who have bought tickets for matches and cannot be submitted due to COVID-19 pandemic to explain why they are seeking a return to the money.
The German bondesgila has resumed on May 16th, after a two - month suspension because of the Coronavirus, but the games are playing without viewers to avoid the risk of infection.
Clubs have offered fans remuneration and vouchers for their tickets. Many owners of German clubs' seasonal tickets have decided not to seek remuneration to support their clubs during the financial crisis caused by Coronvirus.
But Schalke has taken an extra step by urging fans to explain exactly why they are looking for the remuneration and handing in a documented testimony.
