On June 20th, the International Day of Refugees was marked, writes the news.net.
Many celebrities marked this day with various posts, some even recall related stories.
The world-renowned Albanian singer I Love Lipa is one of the celebrities who is from a refugee family.
She and her family had left Kosovo for the United Kingdom in the 1990s.
Dukagjin Lipa, using some images of Kosovo and Syrian refugees, wrote a few words regarding the International Refugees Day.
“Day was remembered 21 years ago when over one million Albanians from Kosovo were forced out of their homes and chased abroad during the brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing conducted by Serbian forces in #Kosovo. At every #WorldRefugeDay and every other day, we will stay close to the oppressed and refugees in their plight. Do the love, not the fight”, writes Dukagini.
