Raka: If there is an influx of tourist season, borders should be opened with each country

Microbiologist Lull Raka has said that in Kosovo, while we are in the third phase of easing measures against pandemic is expected, according to him, an increase in the cases with Avid 19.

“Release of measures as planned, started on June 1st and was expected to have a slight increase in the number of cases. This happened”, Raka said at Info Magazine in Klan Kosova.

The “Virus is among us and we need to be careful, while the measures must be taken depend on the approach of the MSH and IKSHPK. In the number of new cases, an important factor is the structure of the cases (as if they are family contact) and the other fact that if they need hospitals”.

Raka has said that borders should not be opened immediately without becoming an epidemiological situation.

The insulating measures have been restored, as there has been drastic increase in cases and at present, Northern Macedonia is on its own. In Montenegro, nearly a month has been since the pandemic was officially closed”.

The tourist season is a concern if they think about the flow. Albania has said it should prevent the flow if thousands of people go to the weekend, it is dangerous. They have gradually thought about opening the beaches and there should be”.
