A photograph of nurse Shqipe Kadriu was distributed on social networks and on many media in Kosovo. But what's her story?
Kadriu has been a nurse at the Infectious Clinic for 21 years and, along with her medical profession, has also studied dramatology. She has written the text of several series and films in Kosovo, where she has collaborated with several renowned directors, writes Schneta newspaper.
Now the nurse is taking care of patients who are ill with Covid-19, a job that she does very diligently but also hard work and tiredness because of the large flow of patients.
Albania has refused to talk to the media, saying it does not want fame in this difficult time Kosovo citizens are facing. She has said that I will interview after the pandemic is completed, while now she is committed to caring for patients. The publication and distribution of photography on social networks was not the thing she wanted.
The nurse has sent this photo to a friend who has asked how she was feeling these days with many patients and with high temperatures. In response, she had sent her picture. Her friend had asked her permission to publish it so that she could inform her friends of the hard work the nurses are doing.
But the picture got sheep, and although there were many positive comments, there were also those who disturbed Albania and her family. So she said she doesn't want to get more famous than the photo that's published, which she says is very much about the hard work they're doing with patients.
The nurse is sitting on the floor to rest a few moments because she cannot sit in a chair for fear of infecting her and thus infecting any of her patients or colleagues.
Infectious clinic nurses are looking at the gasp with the large flow of patients infected with Coddy-19. They are obliged to wear protective equipment against high - temperature infection and for hours until all patients ' therapies are performed.
Like the Albanian, her colleagues at the Infectious Clinic, Pulmology, Emergency, etc., and so on often receive infusions after the therapy, due to great fatigue, difficulty in breathing from masks, and high temperatures.
