The Kosovo Basketball Federation's board (FBK), viewing recent developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, based on its statuteic competencies on 10 June 2020, has made a decision to cancel competitions in all new age groups for the 2019/2020 edition, and thus will not announce the champions of these competitions, Periscope broadcast.
“Decisions for interruption and then canceling events in all categories, including decisions of March 31st and May 19th 2020, have been made with the attention and first priority the health of basketball players, trainers, sports workers and all acts involved in organising basketball contests, as well as the characteristics of our sports, whose development is impossible when global pandemic is continuing to be present in Kosovo”, the Kosovo basketball house reports.
This decision comes into force on the date of its approval by the Kosovo Basketball Federation Board. /Periscope. com/
