Michael Arteta says that Mesut Ozil was not invited to the Arsenal team for meeting Manchester City in Premierliga for tactical causes.
Ozil was not in the launch formation, nor was he among the nine replacements for the match held in Etihad.
Arsenal lost 3:0 behind goals by Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden.
After the match, Arteta was asked about Ozil's absence.
His response was short: “for tactical reasons”.
