Italy's Cup final, Naples-Juventus, has started with an embarrassing moment due to the break-up of Italy's anthem prior to the start of the match by Sergio Sylvestre.
The Los Angeles-born singer, known for his success in the “Amitic” Maria de Filipi, has stopped for a few seconds, perhaps betrayed by emotion.
The pause has become more embarrassing because of silence at Rome's Olympiaco Stadium, empty because of the rules against Coronavirus.
Sylvestre has recovered later, leading to the end of Mammel's Himin, but the social network has quickly broken out the irony of fans.
