The basketball legend Michael Jordan reacted sharply after George Floyd's scandalous murder by Minneapolis police a few days ago.
Jordan stressed that the event has made “nervous and desperate” and has come to end American state racism.
I am deeply grieved, deeply affected and very nervous. I can see and feel everyone's pain, anger, and frustration. I am at the side of those who want to eradicate racism from our people. We've had enough.
I have no answer, but our united voices show power and ability not to separate. We must listen to each other, show compassion, and never turn our backs on senseless brutality. We must continue to demonstrate peacefully against injustice and seek accountability. Our united voice must pressure our leaders to change laws or seize the right to vote to change the system. Everyone must become part of the solution and work together to establish justice.
My heart is with George Floyd's family and with all those suffering from brutal and senseless acts”, writes former Chicago Bulls star.
We remember that in the harsh and inhuman event, George Floyd for more than nine minutes was blocked from breathing and then died of asphyxiation.
