The world's double champion in mixed martial arts, Brazilian athlete Amanda Nunes, will stay at least six months off. At the UFC-250 event, held on June 6th, it defended the weight title <x0feaight”, defeating by the unanimous decision of Canadian judges Felicia Spencer.
The Nevada Medical Commission has made the decision today to suspend both athletes for six months because of injuries on their face and body. Nunes will conduct X-ray scanners and if there's a broken arm it will also require surgery. For this reason, it will not duel until December 4, 2020.
Same date for Spencer, which will have some scans on his face, to see if he's got a nose fracture. Canadians are not allowed any contact with other people until 22 July.
