Macedonia: So far, blood plasma has been provided for 23 patients with Ovid 19

During the past period in northern Macedonia, 16 covalescent plasmas have been donated, out of which seven with the plasma procedure of the kletochen servitor and nine through standard blood donation, informed the Health Ministry, where it lets out 23 covalescent plasma units have been provided for the treatment of 23 patients with Cardi-19. “Coronian virus is a new threat to public health because of the rapid spread, which is making great efforts to prevent. Recently, the Covalescent plasma donation protocol was prepared at the Institute for Transfusion Medicine. The covaleste plasma donor may be each person who has recovered from this virus and meets the conditions for donations that have been shown at protocol”, the Health Ministry in Macedonia reports.
Covalescent plasma contains antibody antivirus corons created by the human organism for the removal of the disease. Those bodies are present in plasma, and the same can be used in rooting out the disease in another person with Covid-19.
“Thank you very much to all the cured patients who donated covalescent plasma and we call on all those who have passed this virus to donate plasma to prevent the spread of this unpredictable body”, the statement says.
