Kosovo's handball selector, Taip Ramadani, has analysed the Euro22 qualifying lot, which was withdrawn yesterday.
Kosovo is in the eighth group together with Sweden, Montenegro and Romania.
According to Ramadani, we are facing a difficult but not impossible challenge.
The positive results in past qualifications have now led us to participate in the second qualifying round, without the need for representation in pre-qualify rounds. We have actually expected this level of opponents”, Ramadani said.
He has confirmed that the goal remains the historical qualifications.
“Synim is qualification at Euro 2022. Our job is to focus all our energy on this to accomplish that goal. Sweden is the favourite in this group and has the best chance of leading the group. Montenegro and Romania are super teams with great international experience, but do not have Sweden's consortium. This has been proven in recent European qualifications, surprises are possible, especially in front of the local public and especially for us. Romania failed to qualify in Euro 2020, while Montenegro qualified with two losses and a shocking draw to the Faroe Islands in Podgorica”, has analysed Kosovo's selective, Taip Ramadani.
Under his leadership, the national of Kosovo has achieved successes, taking important steps. The next step is aimed at future qualifications.
“20 out of 32 national teams switch to the European championship. We're going to try to be one of these 20”, it's clear Ramadani.
