Kosovo Handballists Target Another Historic Qualification

Kosovo's handball selector, Taip Ramadani, has acknowledged that they will have a very difficult job during qualifications for “Euro 2022”. Kosovo on Tuesday afternoon taught opponents of European qualifications, to be held after two years in Hungary and Slovakia. Kosovo is part of the eighth qualifying group together with Sweden, Montenegro and Romania. So Ramadani acknowledges that Kosovo before itself has a difficult but not impossible challenge.
The positive results in past qualifications have now led us to participate in the second qualifying round, without the need for representation in pre-qualify rounds. Currently, we have expected this level of opponents”, Ramadani has indicated.
He has insisted that the goal remains the qualification of “2022” with the A team of Kosovo.
The new “Dardians” last year achieved the historic qualifications in the world held in the summer of 2019 in Spain. Once, this was also the biggest achievement in Kosovo sports at the level of collective sports.
“Synim is qualification at 2022. Our job is to focus all our energy on this to accomplish that goal. Sweden is a favourite in this group and has the best chance of leading the group. Montenegro and Romania are super teams with great international experience, but do not have Sweden's consortium”, Ramadani has added. “This has been witnessed in recent European qualifications, surprises are possible, especially in front of the local public and especially for us. Romania failed to qualify in Euro 2020, while Montenegro qualified with two losses and a shocking draw to the Faroe Islands in Podgorica”.
In the lead with Ramadani selectively, Kosovo has achieved successes and made steps forward. The next step, however, is aimed at future qualifications. Qualifying matches for “Euro 2022” will begin in November of this year to end in May of next year. Kosovo starts with Montenegro and wraps up with Sweden the preliminary cycle -- matches that it will play as guests.
European championship “passes 20 of the 32 national teams. We're going to try to be one of these 20л, it was clear Ramadani.
Meanwhile, Kosovo Respondent Kastriot Yupa has estimated that the drawback for “Euro 202218x1> does not favour Kosovo at all. He has acknowledged that it is an extremely difficult but not even impassable group to affect European qualifications. Kosovo well knows Romania, which it faces in World qualifications and has suffered losses.
I think it's a bad lot for us. We will have a giant handball like Sweden, while Montenegro and Romania are part of very high-level teams. But this will be a very important test for us. We want to continue our establishment as national, and of course we're going to target the”, the Yupa, which is part of the team from Peja, Besa Fagas, has insisted.
The first two countries in the group guarantee the qualifications at “2022”, but it is possible to achieve that from the third position.
