It seems that every government decision by Kurti is being sharply contested by various groups of citizens. This time around, it is their decision to disinfect vehicles that are also subject to importers of goods from Albania. The latter have warned the protest.
Goods importers from Albania have warned protests for today at 12: 00 p.m. at the Vremica border point, as they are considering that disinfecting vehicles that should be submitted to Kosovo's entry case is not necessary and high. According to them, if this has to be done, then the government has to carry the cost.
The report reportedly said that disinfectation should be conducted after any entry into Kosovo's territory.
We are forced to protest the financial burden we receive for the so-called disinfection of vehicles at the entry of the customs border between Albania and Kosovo, Vermica (from the side of Kosovo), which is the price of 22.5 Eur/for 1 truck for a passage. The protest will begin at 12: 00 p.m. by parking all the trains, and expressing our disappointment over these measures that charge us at new cost unaffordable to our business. If control is necessary because of the aspect of health protection and risks related to Covid-19, we think the state has to carry that cost. We hope that our demand will come to understanding, since we are tired of the failure that has occurred in the past two months by bringing us a lot of losses”, says a statement of goods importers from Albania.
