Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Sejdiu Hoxha has publicly denounced former Vetevendosje Minister Jedal Svecla for placing wiretap equipment in the country's institutions, violating public employees' privacy.
Hoxha wrote on his Facebook page that
In addition to taking personal data from Kosovo citizens in PTK, Xhelal Svechla has illegally placed cameras recording the voice of employees in institutions.
He has urgently invited the prosecution's intervention to handle the case.
Deputy Sejj Hoxha's full budget:
Still 24 hours after the handover of former government duties by Kurti, abuses and dirty scandals are emerging.
Today, claims filed by the PDK are confirmed on Albin Kurti's scandalous actions, Haki Abbas and Xhelal Svechla to steal city records and affect their privacy by entering the wire room illegally in PTK several weeks ago.
This group, if not enough of this abuse, has continued with other abuses that seriously affect the privacy and freedoms of Kosovo citizens. Given the role and importance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, former Minister Svechla has installed security cameras that record images and voice inside and outside official facilities.
In other public institutions, the cameras posted record only the view, but not even the voice, former Minister Svecla for the purposes of his Party, the Vetevendosje Movement, misusing his official position, has illegally imposed these devices.
This dangerous criminal act aims to intimidate and blackmail each employee, family and citizens of Kosovo for low political purposes.
I invite all legal agencies, in particular the police and prosecutors, to immediately initiate investigations into this case and take all necessary measures that prevent the misuse of employee privacy and prevent any possible blackmail and misuse.
