Hoti warns meetings with party leaders before departure for Washington

While talking about dialogue, Hoti stressed that this process belongs not only to one government but, as he said, to all citizens of the country.
“Of course we are honored to have accepted this invitation, we will conduct the necessary discussions with all, in accordance with the approach we have promised, so that as a state we can come out unique in this important process. I will try to have communication even with the opposition before going to Washington, even with the forum of political leaders of parliamentary parties in the Kosovo Assembly, to keep everyone involved because this is not the process that belongs only to one government, but to all citizens of the country”, Hoti said.
As for EU special representative Miroslav Lajcak's visit to Pristina, the first executive said they would expect it with the necessary protocol to announce it, as he said with Kosovo's stances concerning dialogue.
Mr. Lajcak represents 27 EU countries that we will expect with all the protocol and the honour needed as a state to show our positions regarding dialogue. For us both the EU and the US are key even during the process of reaching agreement, but in particular when the time of implementation of the” agreement comes, Hoti said.
Prime Minister Hoti also spoke of building the Dukagjin highway, which he indicated would be built in line with budgetary opportunities.

The country's prime minister made these comments at the inauguration of the first segment of the road linking Decanin and Plav, which was inaugurated in honour of the 21st anniversary of Decani's liberation.
