Mark Zuckerberg has announced that Facebook will begin to label inflammatory posts by President Donald Trump and other politicians, as America's largest companies suspend advertising on policies of hate speech platforms, broadcast news.

Zuckerberg announced that the social networking site would update its hate speech and dezinformation policies, as more than a hundred companies joined a boycott against advertising on their platform.

Companies including Unilever, Verizon and Ben and Jerry announced they would ban Facebook advertising as part of the Stop Hatte campaign.
