The president of the Kosovo Football Federation was previously sentenced to nine months in prison for an affair outside football, occurring in 2012. He had initially complained at the Court of Appeals, but the latter backed the original ruling, which led to Adam's complaint to the Supreme Court.
In recent days it has become known that Ademi has been ordered by the Pristina Constitutional Court to appear at the Correcting Service in Pristina earlier than 18 June. While Adam has not yet made clear what will happen to this commandment, Salih warns that in case of the mayor's imprisonment, The NFF will go to extraordinary elections.
This is a matter of President Ademi and Executive Committee. I think within a few days the chairman himself will come out to clarify. I don't think we should take advantage of somebody's disaster, but let him solve it dignifiedly”, Salih said on the sports show “Best” in T7.
He further explained the procedures for calling an extraordinary assembly to elect the new chairman.
Asked what would happen if Ademi was imprisoned, Salihu in “The default” said: “Yes, it is clear. New choices must be announced. Elections should then be declared candidacys, but they should not deal with euphoria, or actions that would damage the image of football, which, the hand in the heart, the time of the end has been severely damaged”.
“Elections are declared within a month's term, or even more if necessary. Then the rules that should be observed by each candidate should be assessed or met by candidate conditions and then have to be scheduled and then supported by the members of the UN”, Ademi added.
