I'm being excluded and different because:
I said never with the corrupt, and so it remained;
I said we're going to bring Kosovo the change, not the old thinking in power, and it's still there;
I said that no merchant of the borders and sovereignty would support him, and he remained.
I said for Kosovo, we will seek equality through reciprocity, and it remains;
I said nobody's gonna work behind their backs, and that's how it's done.
So I got different because I kept my word.
I was also different because I am a woman because no man's vice president in the past, even when they have opposed and acted against party decisions, have been excluded.
But dear Kosovo citizens, the systems that stand on which they have differentiation, are always destined to fail. It has been so in the past, and so it will be from now on, to be convinced. So I repeat what I said in the Parliament on March 25th:
In politics, even in life, sometimes you have to pay the price of being a professor. I've tried it on my skin more than once. But principle shows the true way, even when it is filled with thorns. And I don't want to try these obstacles to make light manifest, even if it's not understood by the short-minded ones who voted today to rule out my difference. But it's a way I've been following these 20 years and that's the way to establish citizen faith and I never intend to divorce her. In each battle, I'll be with the citizens to the end.
I thank 53 members of the General Council for not becoming part of this political difference. As for today's differentials, I'll see you in the election race soon. And we'll see who wins when we get in front of the citizens. The real race is in front of the citizens, even though the vast majority of you differentials, you're so cowards you won't dare to get on that confrontation, but you'll still hide behind someone else. But the big fight will happen. I've been raised by people and only he can bring me down.
