AKK calls on senior public officials for property statements by June 19th

According to the AKK, for all officials who do not respond to legal obligations for property statements, The AKK will take legal action that must confirm the mandate and laws in force.

“agrees with Government of the Republic of Kosovo decision No. 02/38 of the 3105.2020 year, for easing the measures following the situation created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Anti-Corruption Agency has continued its property declaration deadline by June 19th 2020. The process of declaring property will become a conform Article 3 of Law No. 04-L-050 for the declaration, background and control of the assets of senior public officials and the declaration, background and control of gifts for all official persons, as well as Article 1 of Law No. 04/L-228” says on notice.

In this case, the Anti-Corruption Agency calls on all senior public officials to make the property declaration by June 19, 2020, the opposite for all officials who fail to respond to legal obligations for property statements, The AKK will take legal action that must confirm the mandate and laws in force”, the announcement stressed.
