An extraordinary tragedy has shocked Mexico. Alexander Martinez, a young footballer, only 16 years old, was mistakenly killed with gunfire in his head by local police, who apparently took him for another criminal.
The boy had been on a motorcycle with some friends to buy drinks at a store in the town of Acatlán de Pérez Figueroa, but on the way he faced a police car that opened fire killing him. Alexander's dream, as stated by his mother, was to become a professional footballer.
