Driton Bardec, an AAK activist of Haradinaj, is not mentioned in any previous institutional experience, except his party activities. Moreover, as was published yesterday in the media, he has no university studies done.
Such a appointment constitutes direct violations of the 14-point coalition agreement linked between the AAK and the LDK 29 April.
The 9th item of the agreement between the two parties currently in the ruling coalition, correctly and specifys that in positions of the government cabinet, people who have high professional competence should be determined.
“The LDK and AAK agree that in the government cabinet, to appoint highly professionally competent people, the purity of the image, to have and not to have had problems with the law, as well as to have the will for team work”, the 9th point of this agreement is said.
Such a appointment to the government cabinet, exactly in the position of the deputy minister of education, the dictatorship with enormous problems in Kosovo, constitutes violations with both legs of the April 29th agreement between the two parties.
Since it is very clearly specified, appointed individuals must have high professional competences that in the case of Bar andec, such a criterion has not been ignored at all by the AAK.
And the latter is not the first time he has violated the agreement reached with the LDK. He had also acted with the appointment of Melza Haradinaj as Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister.
Haradinaj- Staubla in October 2019 was sentenced to 8 months in prison on bail and a thousand-euro fine for false property statements. The sentence pronounced by Pristina's Constitutional Court will not be executed unless Haradinaj commits new criminal acts in the period within a year. This means that the same has not yet carried out its sentence.
Such a first-instance court ruling constitutes direct violations of the same point of agreement, which specifys that members of the government cabinet should not have had problems with the law in the past or during their official work.
