5 Kosovars and Swiss allegedly received hundreds of thousands of euros cheating on consequences from COVID-19

These allegedly received loans known as “COVID”, which total several hundred thousand francs. Credits are received from various banks with false information.
Suspected frauds have been arrested under a co-ordinated action with relevant police troops in cantons: Arigau, Zug and Cyril. Documents, databases (cd) and property tools have been seized during search of suspects' residences. Further investigations are under way.
Those arrested are four men and a woman aged 21 to 52, from Kosovo and Switzerland.
Two people have been released after being questioned by police or investigative judges; the other three continue to be in custody.
Until a formal trial is taken, all involved are considered innocent.
As it has been written repeatedly, since the outbreak of pandemic, Switzerland, with the aim of supporting businesses affected by this crisis, has provided loans, called “Cavid”. The media has repeatedly reported that there are many who have taken advantage of the opportunity to take unbased advantage under the risk of damage suffered by coronary measures.
