The branch of the Democratic League of Kosovo of Benelux has indicated that, in consultation with Benelux's subsets, support Central Headship decisions, President Isa Mustafa and the General Council, and that they have full confidence in all the structures of this party. The LDK branch response for Beneluks comes after the [...] dismissal.
The LDK branch's reaction to Beneluks comes after the dismissal of Vjosa Osmani from the post of deputy chairman and LDK chairmanship, as the latter spoke out openly against the party's positions on forming the Hoti Government.
A media communiqué says the LDK branch for Beneluks with concern is conveying the political situation after the Kosovo Government is established and estimates that the LDK needs unity and understanding more than ever.
Our “Dega strongly condemns the low lynching campaign, which is under way on social networks, orchestrated, through political activists or other forms against the LDK and our ally, the United States of America”, is said in the communiqué.
President Mustafa's proposal to dismiss Osman and the deployment of Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti instead has received the backing of 70 members of the General Council, down from 95 as many as voted in the General Council, while 16 have voiced opposition and 9 abstained.
The LDK's Media Office has not disclosed who voted for, against those who abstained and did not participate in the vote, while Vjosa Osmani has led those who initiated and voted for it, that they will soon meet in the election race.
