Over 140 thousand euros have been spent by Albin Kurti and his advisers and deputy prime ministers for four months. The Express newspaper has provided data through demand for access to public documents and brings them details of the expenses they have made for travel abroad, fuels, formal lunches and telephones.
On February 3 of this year, Albin Kurti came to the helm of the new government. But her stay in that position did not last long.
After more than a month from the day he was elected prime minister, with 82 votes for, 32 against and one abstention, MPs voted in favour of the government's no-confidence motion, thus dismissing the government led by Kurti.
But while at the top of the executive, Kurt and his advisers have spent thousands of euros on the budget. The Express newspaper has provided data on Kurti's Cabinet expenses, through demand for access to public documents.
According to documents provided through this request, Albin Kurti, Hakki Abazi, Erzen Vriniqi, Milot Cakaj, Avdullah Hoti (rested by Kurti after the government's collapse vote), Ardita Dusi and Gazmend Qorray, have spent approximately 12,000 euros in four months. Of this amount, five thousand euros is estimated to have been spent by Kurt.
After Kurti, his adviser Erzen Vriniqi is easily listed, followed by former Deputy Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti.
Most of the expenses are being made for salaries, car fuels and official lunches, exactly 81 thousand and 387 euros.
Only for a lunch in Prevalla on February 29th, where the government cabinet had gone to harmonise the deal for the ruling coalition, had more than 1,000 euros and 300 euros been spent.
“The category “Official Code” includes the expenses for the entire relevant cabinet, also at Zek Haki Abazi, is included in the Sharri restaurant, worth a thousand and 375 euros”, said in the clarification of the Prime Minister's Office.
Not a small amount of money has also been spent on travel abroad. Spending during official trips, wages and accommodation during these trips cost more than 10,000 euros, while about 4 thousand euros have been spent on telephone services.
