According to him, Serbia should use the best known names it has in the field of diplomacy, as is the case of Novak Djokovic.
“Novak always asked what we can do. He looks forward to any withdrawal of Kosovo's recognition. A lot of world leaders ask me about him, and I called him to send them balls or a tennis rocket with an autograph.
And for all the work Djokovic has done to help Serbian diplomacy, he has received praise today from Ivica Dacic to “Diplomacy Day”.
This year, I have the great honour of giving this gratitude to the living legend Novak Djokovic, which is evidence that athletes are perhaps the best ambassadors of our country in the world”, Dacic said during the ceremony.
The US Ambassador to Serbia Anthonyfrey, who has published a photo of Dacic and Djokovic, has also attended the ceremony.

The US ambassador has said that after sharing photos with his staff, he has found that at the US Embassy in Belgrade he is a large fan of Djokovic.
