Wessel wrote that what happened that day was the fierce revenge of Serbian forces against a neighbourhood that was the KLA base during the liberation war.
Header The PDK said it would not stop in its commitment to establishing the Tribunal for condemning crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
Wessel's full delivery:
May 26, 1999, was turned into tragedy for our people at Prizren's “Trimain Law”. Serbian forces killed and massacred 27 Albanian civilians who had decided not to leave their homes when thousands more were being deported to Albania.
Their murder 21 years ago was the fierce revenge of Serbian forces against this neighbourhood and villages of Vorini and Opja, which were KLA bases during the liberation war against Serbia. The boys and girls in this neighborhood were the best brave KLA warriors.
I will not stop in my commitment to establish Tribunal for condemning Serbian crimes committed during the war in Kosovo. We should not stop working to bring to justice all Serb criminals who slaughtered our innocent citizens.
