A telephone conversation held yesterday between incumbent Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Bosnia's Presidency Chairman Sefik Xhaferivuq has prompted the strong reaction of Serbian Defence Minister Alexander Voulin.
He has warned today Xhaferovic, who, according to him, has not respected Bosnian Serbs, and in that form according to Volin, he is not obliged to respect the Bosnian state.
If he doesn't respect his country, if he doesn't respect his citizens, my citizens living in Bosnia, then I'm not obliged to respect Bosnia either. I don't have to say that Republika Srpska is part of Bosnia anymore. Starting from now, until Xhaferovic respects the Constitution of Bosnia, Republika Srbska is special to me, and I will be addressed that way, and in no other form”, he said Vulin.
Even according to Vulin, with his conversation with Kurti, Xhaferovic has attempted “thic behind his back to Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq”.
“Instead of telling Kurt that Bosnia's policy is that this state does not recognise the false state of Kosovo, and that Kosovo is part of Serbia and nothing more, it agrees with it on the issue of changing borders”, he has said, referring to Dzaferovic's compatibility with Kurti regarding the negative effects that could bring about their changing borders.
This sharp reaction from Serbia comes after yesterday Kurti had a telephone conversation with Xhaferovic.
According to Kurti, Xhaferovic thanked him for lifting the tax on Bosnia, and agreed that changing borders could turn the Balkans into the wars of the 1990s.
