The German producer drew a commercial for Golf from social networks and apologised after fierce accusations that the video was racist.
The 10-second video was posted on the Instagram to promote the new generation of the Golf model.
It shows a large hand of a man “white”, who first pushes a man with dark skin out of the car and then takes it, holding his head, at the open door and finally pushing it into the café.
The audience also noted that the floating letters in the ad appear to represent a word of contempt for people with German - colored skin.
Others point out that the title of the building in which man is disappearing is also offensive to “Pete Colon”, which reminds them of colonialism.
Following the reactions of social media users, the management of the German auto giant issued an apology, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
“We will investigate how something like this may have happened, there will be consequences. No doubt video is inappropriate and tasteless”, says the company's statement in Wolfsburg.
We will surely investigate how something like this could have happened and of course there would be consequences. ”
Many expressed disbelief that the video was allowed to be published.
“This is a bad and racist announcement,” said a user.
