Thaci has said that the failure to observe Professor Hoti's vital destiny is also evidence of the criminal nature of the Serbian state.
Thaci has also said that the case of Professor Hoti and other unknowns is evidence that to achieve lasting peace, all wounds opened by war, to have justice for victims and penalties for those responsible.
This is Thaci's full posting on his Facebook account:
For 21 years still unknown is the fate of professor, intellectual and prominent national activity, Ukshin Hoti, who spent part of his life in Yugoslav and Serbian prisons.
Professor Hoti since 1981 backed the idea and request for the Republic of Kosovo, based on historical right and on the concept of Kosovo's development as political entities, which could not remain under Belgrade's administration.
The failure of Professor Hoti's vital destiny is also evidence of the criminal nature of the Serbian state, which systematically exercised violence, imprisonment, murder, burns, massacres and genocide over Kosovo Albanians, especially in 1998 and 1999.
The case of Professor Hoti and other missing people is evidence that to achieve lasting peace, all wounds opened by war must be closed, justice for victims and penalties for those responsible. HTH.
