Gjilan is the first team in Kosovo's football elite to be subjected to testing for coronary by the Kosovo National Public Health Institute. The tests that were done at this club's football players have resulted in negative. News has also been confirmed on the official Facebook club page.
“Futballers, technical staff and club personnel have been subjected to tests Friday morning at the Public Health Institute in Gjilan, with all having negative results. The team gets confirmation to continue training sessions on the eve of relaunching the 2019/20”, writes among other things at the Gjilan club announcement.
On Thursday, the Kosovo Football Federation has indicated that tests for Ovid 19 will be subject to all members of Kosovo's Superleague football teams.
Tests Friday at Gjilan have not been subjected to only six football players: Oltion Rapa, Shkelzen Ruci, Gerhard Progny, Fjoart Jonuzi, Sebino Old Man, Franz Veliu, and Chief Gentian Mezani. The latter took these tests on Thursday, when negatives also resulted and were released after a week of quarantine at the Students Centre in Pristina. Gjilan has also added that the other two foreign players -- Darko Nikac and Muhamed Usin, from Montenegro -- have proved negative in tests for the coronarys.
